Your home for the weekend is in the Parkfield Lodge. The lodge offers full modern accommodations. Upon arrival you'll be treated to a gift basket full of local goodies. Horseback you'll learn the fundamentals of a working cattle ranch from cowboys and cowgirls who have been around ranching all of their lives.
These Dude Ranch Weekends offer a ranch experience that only a few enjoy. Everything from gathering cattle to sorting in the round pen, trail riding to barrel racing, we have something for every rider. You can participate as much or as little as you like. You'll ride one of our V6 Ranch Horses or bring your own. All levels of rider are welcome to attend.
After a couple of days in the saddle the Saturday afternoon massage is a welcome treat. Follow this up with wine tasing from one of the local vineyards and relaxing around the pool. It's easy to see why Horace Greeley said, "Go west, young man, go west".
V6 ranch rides and events are held rain or shine. On a ranch in California, there is no better day than a rainy day! The ranch is BEAUTIFUL in the rain and we will do our best to ride around the rain.
